Tutors Needed What is it like to tutor someone one-on-one? Most volunteers find it an extremely rewarding experience. It provides the opportunity to share the excitement and fulfillment of helping someone read for the first time, and gives tutors a greater understanding of people. Tutors are asked to commit one-and-a-half to three hours per week with their students. Tutors prepare their own creative lessons and can chart their progress by regularly submitting reports to the program. |
